When it comes to preserving, the Hengstenberg Einmach Meister is the perfect vinegar. It has always been produced according to a time-honored home recipe. Besides extracts of herbs and spices, the vinegar also contains salt and sugar. It only needs to be diluted with water. This makes it easy to preserve vegetables and fruit yourself.

One bottle of Master Preserving with 1.5 l of water dilutes 3 times the amount of ready-to-use infusion. The following method has proven to be a good choice for preserving vegetables such as cucumbers:
Thoroughly wash the preserving, drain and place in jars. Cover the preserving with the diluted Hengstenberg’s Einmach Meister. Close the jars well, heat to 85 °C and maintain this temperature for 25 to 30 minutes. Then let it cool down slowly.
